I wouldn't even have created this page, but my daughters and stepdaughters are rabidly curious about how we're redecorating up here in the Botsford Badlands. No big deal really. We're just starting to add a little color to the new house stark white rooms and purchasing some furniture better suited to the region and the ongoing problem we have with DIRT in all its forms. We can't escape the dirt, so we've replaced our upholstered fabric sofa and chairs with leather - more impervious to dirt and dust, more suited to the ranchy/horsey desert countryside we live in, and easy to clean.
So here you go. As you can see, the painting project making all the living room, dining room, kitchen, and main hallway walls the color "Warm Sand" is ongoing. The amount of wall surface to paint is enormous because the rooms all open into each other, and the walls are heavily textured making them difficult to paint easily.
More photos as the "epic" painting project procedes.
